Your membership is good for a full year and makes you a member of all KFDW chapters in the state so you can visit meetings, assist with other election efforts and get the membership discounts at all. That means you are a member of the National Federation of Democratic Women as well, who have a seat at the DNC.
Our History
KFDW is a Democratic Women’s organization for the state of Kansas and one of 33 state chapters of the National Federation of Democratic Women.
Our Future
Newly elected president, Cassie Woolworth will continue our traditions as the women of KFDW. We will continue to educate our communities about the issues most affecting them, encourage participation in the Democratic Party, mentoring new leaders and playing a large role in getting Kansas Women Democrats elected.
Our Mission
The Mission of the Federation shall be to unite all Women’s Democratic Chapters in Kansas to work together for the success of the Democratic Party and to encourage full participation of women in every level of the Democratic Party structure. In order that the Federation may direct its best efforts toward the success of the Democratic Party in the General Election, it shall not as a State Federation, District, or County Chapter endorse any candidate before the Primary Election.
